A priest is seen as an intermediary of God, as an enlightened soul with a true understanding of the ultimate being. But there are some who go against the grain.

Rajesh's wife Sheeja aka Sini has been missing for the last two years. Rajesh is currently staying with his mother-in-law along with his two daughters, aged 16 and 13 respectively. The younger of the two had been born with a physical disability that rendered her incapable of moving or even sitting up erect without another's help. Medicines didn't make any difference to her condition.

At this juncture, when Rajesh and Sheela were at their wit's end, a local pastor named Thangaraj entered the scene with the firm assurance that he would cure Minnu through prayer. Since science had failed, Rajesh and Sheeja pinned their last hope on belief.

Thangaraj's regular visits paved the way for an illicit relationship to develop between him and Sheeja, at the peak of which they eloped taking Minnu along with them. Unfortunately for the lovers, they got caught by the Parasala Police following a complaint filed by Rajesh. Now, Sheela is missing for a second time and based on the former incident, Rajesh strongly feels that she is with Thangaraj ;he even claims to have sufficient proof to back his suspicion.
