Sini’s husband Symon, a driver by profession has abandoned her and their two children and eloped with his lady-love Siji. To live with Symon, Siji also has left her husband and two children. This is the second time when Symon has betrayed Sini. Once before, in a similar situation, it was with the help of Police that Sini could bring him back home. This second time has erased all hopes of unison from Sini’s heart. Why she has come to Kathayalla Ithu Jeevitham’s court is to get an aid to secure her children’s lives. She wants Symon to perform his duties as a father no matter what he cares for his wife.

The second party or the defender could not be brought to the TV court-room. Sini, her parents, her brother in-law and his wife were present in the show.

Sini’s Version

Symon was attracted towards Sini when he saw her in one of her cousin’s engagement. He put forth a proposal before Sini’s parents. For Sini’s parents, who were somehow managing a livelihood, this proposal was more than a delight. Thus, at the age of 18 years, Sini got married to Symon. They have two children out of their marriage.

Sini and Symon’s marriage proceeded contentedly until when Sini found out of her husband having an affair with another woman. There were frequent late-night messages and missed calls arriving in Symon’s number. When doubts started sprouting in her, Sini tried to clear it with Symon. But he would shirk away from answering her. Instead, the talks would often lead way to clashes between them. Later, when Sini repeatedly caught him having late-night talks with Siji, Symon had to finally admit. Sini didn’t lose her hope. She thought that her unwavering love would mend his ways and faithfulness will be restored to their relationship. But that was not to be. Sending hard blow to both the families, Symon and Siji eloped.

Though with the help of Police support, the run-aways were caught and Sini was united with her husband, their further life together wasn’t that pleasing. There were frequent quarrels between them and Symon was also careless towards their children. During his short stay after unison with Sini, Symon would often speak his words of concern for Siji.

Gradually spacing out from his family, to the ill fate of Sini, Symon once again flee with his love.

Betrayed by her husband, Sini now has to take care of her children all alone. Her only relief is the little help offered by Symon’s big brother. Sini, who had never been to work earlier, went to cook in hotels and so to earn for her kids. But fate cheated her once again. Her health dropped each day and she was diagnosed to have a hole in her heart. When she is struggling for a living with her children and old parents, doctors have advised her to have an immediate surgery. Here she has turned completely helpless.

Brother-in-Law’s Version

Sini was Symon’s choice. Symon and his family had known of her financial situation from the time when the proposal was made. Sini’s parents had married her off with great difficulty. After marriage, Sini had petty- quarrels with her mother-in-law, but that were normal as in any other household. Taking these quarrels for a reason, Symon and Sini had shifted to live at her mother’s place.

Symon and his brother had a friendly relationship and they used to share their sorrows and secrets with each other. In their talk sharing, Symon had never mentioned a word about Siji or of any problems between him and his wife. Though Symon and Sini were living separate from Symon’s family, both families occasionally used to pay each other a visit. There was nothing worst to trigger anger in anyone from either family.

For Symon’s brother, Symon’s children are dearer as his own children. He doesn’t mind Sini and the children coming back to stay with them. Within his limitations, he is willing to do every possible help for his sister-in-law. Symon’s shameful act has wounded him deeply and he along with Sini opines that he should be punished for his dishonesty.

KIJ’s Verdict

Even if Symon comes back now, heeding his earlier conduct, there is no surety that he will stay and look after his wife and children. Sini also had mentioned in her petition that she has no hopes of the return of her responsible husband. Her requirement is to make her children’s life secured. A missing report has already been filed.

We request our audience also to help us trace the whereabouts of Symon and Siji, so that legally Symon could be made to take up the responsibility of providing for his family.

From the desk of Kathayalla Ithu Jeevitham, we extend a sincere plea to all our viewers to show your kind support and as possible, kindly send in your offerings to help Sini.
